Thoughts
I adored this YA historical romance novel! Aptly titled, it is absolutely brimming with wit. The love-hate relationship between Blythe and Briggs was a bit reminiscent of Anne and Gilbert, one of my favorite classic couples. The banter, pranks, and laugh out loud moments were such a joy to experience. I found the slower pace charming. The story had just enough depth, too.
I hope to see more books like this from Erica George. If you are looking for a sweet and sassy Regency era story with Jane Austen or Julia Quinn vibes, add this to your TBR.
