A couple of months ago while I was book shopping, the Chiltern Classics section caught my eye. These books glinted as they reflected the light. They felt softly textured, yet smooth to the touch. I found them irresistible, so I picked up a few that I neither owned nor had read before. They are truly elegant additions to my personal library.
My Chiltern Classics
- Dracula by Bram Stoker
- Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf
- The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Brontë
- The Moonstone by Wilke Collins
- The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton
- The Adventures of Sherlock Homes by Arthur Conan Doyle
- Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
About Chiltern Publishing
Inspired by the original Jane Austen novels published in the 1800s, Chiltern Publishing was formed in 2018. With ornate covers, gold edges, silky pages, and stitched binding, these books are some of the most beautiful classics published today.
Reading Update
I just finished Dracula. I will publish my review early next week. Spoiler: I rather enjoyed it!
