Synopsis

My last read of 2024 managed to find itself not only on my list of top reads of the month, but also of the year. Wow! This story pulled me in and kept me invested at every single page turn, right up until the end. I loved Eddie so much, but I also fell in love with the extended cast of this heartwarming book. I expected a love story with a bit of depth, but got so much more from this book. It carries lessons of love, faith, grief, healing, and found family. I finished this story wishing that every person could have an Eddie in their life, or at least carry a bit of his spirit with them. What a fantastic book with which to end the year!
