Synopsis

Thoughts
This series started to pick up at the end of the last book for me, and this one kept me fairly interested. I read it as book three, with Assassin’s Blade planned next in line. I know there are conflicting opinions on when to read that, but I opted for the emotional strategy, so I will see how that goes.
In Heir of Fire, I appreciated the steadier pace. I enjoyed witnessing Celaena’s growth and training. I also really liked Rowan a lot. Of course, I also loved seeing a bit more of the fae world. I have so many more Maas books to read, but I feel committed now.
