Synopsis

Seventeen-year-old Mia, an American girl at an elite summer ballet program, has six weeks to achieve her dreams: to snag an audition with one of the world’s best ballet companies. But there’s more to Paris than ballet—especially when a charming French boy, Louis, wants to be her tour guide—and the pair discover the city has a few mysteries up its sleeve.

Thoughts

Oh my goodness, if you are searching for the sweetest of sweet YA romance books, look no further! There is so much to love about this book. Viewing Paris through Mia’s rose-colored glasses, ballet pressure, an enemies-to-friends situation, a slow-burn romance, some intriguing family drama, and a bit of heartache work together to create an unforgettable story. This book reminded me of Love & Gelato due to the European location, young love, and search for family roots. If you are not afraid of a sticky-sweet, oh-so-cute love story, pick this up.

★★★★★

☊ Listening to this story via audiobook was lovely. Narrator Imani Jade Powers did a wonderful job. I especially loved her beautiful French accent!
