Synopsis
Donatella and Scarlett Dragna escaped their cruel father and made it out of Caraval alive, but the games aren’t over yet. What Scarlett doesn’t know is that, in order to gain their freedom, Tella made a deal with a mysterious stranger and now it’s time to pay.

Thoughts
Flowing effortlessly from book one of the Caraval series, book two continues the intriguing story of the Dragna sisters. With undertones of Alice in Wonderland and The Hunger Games, it is a spellbinding tale. I think I would have especially loved reading this as a teenager, as the Disney princess vibes are strong. I am interested to see how the story wraps up in the final installment, Finale.
