Thoughts
I wanted to try this one out after having a hard time connecting with the author’s popular book, Weyward. Unfortunately, this one fell flat for me, as well. I felt as though the darker themes and feminist undertones felt similar in the two books. I needed more lightness and character development. The concept was intriguing and the cover is another piece of eye candy, though.
