Book Review: Twisted Games by Ana Huang

by Krista

Synopsis

Stoic, broody, and arrogant, elite bodyguard Rhys Larsen is committed to two things: protecting his clients and not becoming emotionally involved.

But Bridget von Ascheberg, a princess with a stubborn streak, tempts him to break his vows.

Bridget is a force to be reckoned with, and her fire reduces Rhys’s rules to ash. She is nothing he expected and everything he never knew he needed. Bridget breaks down Rhys’s defenses until he is faced with a truth he can no longer deny: he swore an oath to protect her, but all he wants is to ruin her in the most seductive ways.

Thoughts

This was my first romance story involving a bodyguard, and I surprisingly liked it. Fearing that it might be a bit overdone and hardly relatable, I actually found the book to be just as good as the first in the Twisted series. The chemistry between Bridget and Rhys was off the charts and the story was engrossing. I look forward to reading the remaining two books in this series.
