♡ Thank you for the free audiobook, PRH Audio.
These two books had been in my TBR stack for a bit, so I thought it was a good time to pull them out since I wanted to read the author’s new title, Under Loch and Key. I enjoyed The Game Changer a lot more, but then I am not the biggest fan of the nanny trope.
The Game Changer
When a public breakup becomes a PR nightmare for Ian Chase’s team, he hopes to focus on his game. With his career and the team’s image in jeopardy, Ian is surprised to find a solution through none other than Delilah Baker, his best friend and teammate’s little sister…who isn’t so little anymore.
Delilah Baker is known as “the darling of baking” on her local cable show, and being in the public eye is her bread and butter. But with her numbers dwindling, Delilah offers up the idea to collaborate with her brother’s team. Delilah thinks it will be a piece of cake—until the team sends Ian Chase, the object of a decade-long crush that she’s never quite gotten over.
This PR stunt will either be a total game changer—or leave them both totally pucked.

The Nanny
After losing her job and being on the brink of eviction, Cassie Evans finds herself with two choices: get a new job or fire up her long-untouched OnlyFans account. Just when all hope seems lost, an ad for a live-in nanny position seems the solution to all her problems. It’s almost too perfect—until she meets her would-be employer.
Aiden Reid, executive chef, is far from the stuffy single dad Cassie was imagining. She is shocked when he tells her she’s the most qualified applicant he’s met in weeks, practically begging her to take the job. With no other option, she decides to stay with him and his adorably tenacious daughter, Sophie.
As sparks fly and their relationship heats to temperatures hotter than any kitchen, Cassie struggles with telling Aiden the truth about her past, and possibly losing the best chance at happiness she’s ever had.

☊ Listening to The Nanny via audiobook was great. Narrators Samantha Summers and Jameson Adams did a fantastic job.
