This series is a decade old, but as a Tessa Bailey fan, I had to pick it up. What the characters lacked in personality and the books lacked in plot was definitely found in the spice department. Haha. They were quick and fun reads. But I definitely prefer Bailey’s more recent stories. While she still writes lots of spicy scenes, I find that her characters and plots are much more layered now.
