Two for Tuesday: Books by Maggie North

by Krista

♡ Thank you for the free book, St. Martin’s Griffin.

I enjoyed both of these books. The first I picked up at a sweet indie bookshop back home, and the second is celebrating pub day. Try this author out if you enjoy Emily Henry or Carley Fortune. I find North’s realistic characters and compelling storylines comparable, yet also refreshing.

Rules for Second Chances

This book explores the hardest relationship question of all: can true love happen twice . . . with the same person? It follows a couple on the brink of divorce as they’re unexpectedly thrown back into each other’s lives, forcing them to confront old wounds and lingering sparks. Heartfelt, witty, and full of hope.

The Ripple Effect

A grumpy, burnt-out physician and a sunshine psychologist must fake an engagement to save his whitewater canoeing-slash-relationship therapy startup. It’s fast-paced, charming, and full of fun opposites-attract energy, with emotional depth beneath the banter. A great summer weekend read.
