Fall weather has finally reached northern California, and we are fully embracing the cozy vibes in our household. Fall and winter are our rainy seasons here. The cooler climate is a welcome change after the 100-plus-degree temperatures of summer. Fog often sets in during the fall and winter here, which reminds me enough of snow from my hometown in upstate New York to make it feel familiar.
My favorite reading seasons are fall and winter. Comfy clothes, blankets, coffee, hot cocoa, comfort food, and holiday decorations—to name a few things—pair so well with a good book.
